When used as the material of socks, COOLMAX and THERMOLITE mainly use short fibers, which are also polyester fibers, and the same structure is also hollow.
COOLMAX is also a patented fiber product of DuPont in the United States. It is also called four-pipe special-shaped polyester fiber in textiles. Ordinary fiber cross-section is mostly solid circular or elliptical, but the fiber of COOLMAX is hollow and cross-section is ten-shaped, just like four pipes juxtaposed together. This structure increases the contact area between the fiber and the air, and also ensures a lot of gaps between the fabrics. In this way, it ensures that the COOLMAX fiber has strong hygroscopicity and dehumidification. The fabric has good air permeability.
